'Childhood Obesity & Oral Health: A plan for action' , a collaborative case study with Charlton Manor primary school, Greenwich, South London is a digital platform for ‘Food, Performance & Wellbeing’.
Objectives of the case study:
1. generate useable and accessible data for health researchers to study causal links between diet, childhood obesity, oral health and other preventable conditions;
2. help create positive narrative about food education and well being within the school community and the home;
3. generate useable and accessible data for shared learning with schools anywhere;
4. the project is scalable to follow children progress into secondary education.
Charlton Manor is ‘Delivering the National Curriculum through Food’ a pioneering curriculum to teach children how to grow food, prepare and eat healthy meals, for a cultural change in the eating habits of children through practice.
